Asics Quickwalker 2
This shoe is made for people with normal pronation or light supination. The Asics Gel technology offers good cushioning. My only complaint: The sizing is a bit off. Make sure to order one size bigger!
What excuses do you make to yourself every night for not having gone for a 30 minute walk as suggested by your dietician? No time? No energy? Or perhaps no walking shoes?
Well, when it comes to making those clichéd excuses, we have reached an unbeatable level in that department, citing every reason under the sun to avoid going for a walk or a jog during the day. Perhaps that is one of the main reasons why fitness levels are drastically falling all across the world, with lifestyle diseases like obesity and cholesterol killing people slowly.
However, with the Asics Quickwalk 2 walking shoes, going for a walk will be the first thing on your mind. In fact you might just start making excuse on why you need to go for a walk instead of attending a party! So what makes these new shoes from the house of Asics so ‘walk-i-licious’? What is the secret behind their tremendous popularity with both the sexes?
Let us take a sneak peek into what goes into the making of the Asics Quickwalk 2 to make them super comfortable and just the perfect walking shoe ever.
About the company
Asics was started way back in 1949 by a Japanese shoe-maker named Kihachiro Onitsuka. Mr. Kihachiro started off by selling basketball shoes from his own house. From such humble beginnings to the multi-billion dollar company that it is today, Asics has indeed come a long way.
ASICS stands for ‘Anima Sana In Corpore Sano’ which in Latin means ‘A Sound Mind in a Sound Body’. With such an inspiring motto as the company’s backbone, it is no wonder that this athletic shoe manufacturing company is now one of the biggest brands in the sports world.
Asics focuses on athletic shoes and apparels which are ‘performance driven’ and also offer the highest levels of comfort to any athlete. The Asics walking shoes were created with the intention of touching the lives of non-athletes who are also fitness-conscious and take their morning walk very seriously.
Asics have come up with an innovative GEL-based technology for the rear sole which gives walkers the perfect cushioning for their heels. Your heels strike the ground first when you walk and Asics has hit the nail on the head with their gel-based rear-sole.
Why you need the Asics Quickwalk 2?
